1st Birthday for Stapleford branch of The Nottingham
Special party marks the first birthday of new look Stapleford branch of The Nottingham.
There will be a party feel at the Stapleford branch of the Nottingham Building Society (known as The Nottingham) next Wednesday (13 April) to mark the first birthday of its reopening after a major refurbishment.
The Mayor of Broxtowe, Councillor Susan Bagshaw, attended the event to cut a special birthday cake and children who had a Robin Hood Young Saver account opened for them last year were invited along with their families to share the event.
Other guests of honour at the Church Street branch included Amy Davis, a member of the Stapleford Town Team, Broxtowe Borough Councillor, Matthew Batterham and representatives of The Nottingham’s senior team.
Karen Hill, Manager of the Stapleford branch of The Nottingham, said: “We want to make it a day to remember and say a big thank you to all our customers who had to travel to our neighbouring branches during the four months we were closed.
“We will be giving out goody bags and our Robin Hood mascot will be on hand to add to the occasion. There will also be a prize draw to win a Robin Hood teddy bear.
“Over the past year our customers have told us how much they appreciate The Nottingham opening branches on the high street when other competitors are closing. We have a unique ‘all-under-one-roof’ business offering both building society and estate agency services, which they love – and that is something to celebrate.”
