Stapleford Community Defibrillator Scheme

The first Stapleford Community Defibrillator was installed by the Stapleford Police outside The Meeting Place, Nottingham Road.

Now the Stapleford Community Group have worked with Councillors Richard MacRae, John McGrath and Broxtowe Borough Council to have more installed in the Stapleford area.

Other defibrillator locations in Stapleford include:-

  • The Co-operative Food on Hickings Lane
  • The Magpie Pub on Toton Lane
  • West End Club on Brookhill Street

Additional defibrillator/s are being planned, with the hope to install one around the Moorbridge Lane area. This will mean that anyone living, working or passing through Stapleford will be close to a defibrillator at all times. Stapleford is first town in Broxtowe where this level of access to this lifesaving technology for the public is available.

Training sessions on how to operate a defibrillator are being organised for those who so wish to learn, with details to follow shortly on the Stapleford Community Group’s Website.
